About us

Lambeth GP Food Co-op

We are a co-operative of patients, doctors, nurses, and Lambeth residents who grow food together.

Since 2013, we have built gardens in GP surgeries and hospital settings designed to support patients with long-term health conditions to learn how to grow food and, by doing so, improve their health  and wellbeing. Our aim is to make a significant contribution to improving the lives of local people living with multiple long-term conditions and the sustainability of the health and social care system.

STALL LADIES.jpeg

The last Thursday of each month, we are running a vegetable stall at King’s College Hospital, Golden Jubilee Wing. By selling vegetables and herbs, locally grown by NHS patients at Jennie lee Garden, we are supporting the community. Lambeth GP Food Co-op also works towards more sustainable future.
